Evaluation Manager of the Girls' Education Challenge Fund

Coffey is the Evaluation Manager for the Girls’ Education Challenge Fund (GEC) – an innovative global £355m fund aimed at providing 650,000 girls with a full six years of primary education or up to a million girls with a junior secondary education for three years.

As Evaluation Manager, we are responsible for assessing the effectiveness and impact of individual projects and of the GEC as a whole. The evaluation will use leading techniques, such as Early Grade Reading and Maths Assessment, alongside quantitative and qualitative tools, including longitudinal studies and ethnographic research.

We are also responsible for disseminating lessons learned to ‘catalyse transformative change in girls’ education and inform wider DFID programming.
